Today I realized something. I mean I already knew it, obviously, but it hit me today. Hard. In the face region.

I am graduating in 2 months.

Four days in between blog posts is not exactly the "frequently" I had intended when I said I was going to Blog in April More Frequently, but this has been an insane few days.

I'm seriously lacking the energy to describe everything that's happened since my last post, so I'll just sum up the events of today in one sentence: Cleaned my fish tank and two fish bowls, ate lunch, wasted hours on the computer, painted my nails, ate dinner, wasted more hours in a similar fashion. WOO. Thrilling.

To make up for my current lack of enthusiasm here are some things I like:

Let day two of BAMF commence!


Good news of the day: My short film "Who Am I?" (which you can find here) was just accepted into the 16th annual Los Angeles Film Festival AND the 10th Annual deadCENTER Film Festival. Also, my short documentary "Don't Unplug The Arts" (watch it here if you'd like) was accepted into the 2010 CineYouth Festival. So that's pretty exciting.


In other news, I found out today that I am going to be very very very busy over the next couple of weeks. I'm directing a scene in a 24-hour play festival this weekend (the short plays are written, rehearsed, and performed all in 24 hours!), and next weekend I'm pretty much doing the same thing over the course of three days. The main difference is the directors are also the writers, so we stay up all night on Friday writing a 15 minute play. Oh, and the actors are in 5th-8th grade. WOO! (On the bright side, I am directing with the loveliest Nikomeh, and we will be payed in cash monayyyyyy!*)

Right. So, today the wonderful Nikomeh asked me to give her the link to my blog, causing me to realize that I've completely neglected it for months for no apparent reason (and for you select non-existent readers who have been paying attention, this does in fact mean that I have failed to complete one of my long-term goals. Creatures that run the internet, have at me).

Anywho, seeing as it is April, and lots of people are participating in Blog Every Day in April (BEDA), I thought I'd jump on the band wagon. But, seeing as it's already almost halfway through said month, I'm going to jump on the Kristina Horner bandwagon and participate in BAMF (Blog in April More Frequently- later to be converted into Blog Altogether More Frequently).
